         Good luck finding this book.  If you can, grab it.  A good little reference book.  It tells 13 "great moments".  They
are:
 

• Dr. J's 4 OT game against the San Diego Conquistadors.
• Wilt's 100 point game
• The longest game in NBA history
• The Silver Anniversary team
• Eddie Gottlieb, Joe Fulks, and the early days of the Philadelphia Warriors (Fulks 60 point game).
• The greatest comeback in league history (NY Knicks 19 unanswered points to beat Milwaukee by 1)
• Red Auerbach
• The Lakers 33 game winning streak
• Wilt and Russell's first meeting
• Boston and Phoenix triple overtime game in the 1976 finals.
• Kareem
• Willis Reed in the 1970 finals
• The 1975 Golden State Warriors improbable finals victory.

        While some of the stories are routine (the 1970 finals, for instance), the longest game in history (Rochester vs. Philadelphia) is rarely told.  For that reason, this book is a good one to grab. I found a few errors concerning Wilt Chamberlain and his 100 point game, but the other parts seem to be o.k.
